On 11/3, Prof. Koundouri, in her capacity as SDSN EUROPE co-chair, gave an opening speech to the webinar on “Sustainable Development Goals: A Catalyst for an Academic Impact”. The webinar was organized by The Israeli National Erasmus+ Office and targeted Israeli Higher Education Institutions. Prof. Koundouri referred to the EU’s vision and policies on SDGs and how they will be translated into action through the EU’s flagship programmes and the European Green Deal. She also presented the results of the latest SDSN EUROPE report on “Transformations for the Joint Implementation of Agenda 2030 for Sustainable Development and the European Green Deal: A Green and Digital, Job-Based and Inclusive Recovery from the COVID-19 Pandemic”.
