During the week of 20 – 25 March, Prof. Phoebe Koundouri had the pleasure of hosting Prof. Virginia Zhelyazkova, Professor in Circular Economy & Sustainable Finance, Environmental Coordinator at Postbank (Eurobank Bulgaria AD), who visited ReSEES, Research Laboratory at the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB), and the Sustainable Development Unit – SDU at “Athena” Research and Innovation Center. Prof. Zhelyazkova met with Professor Phoebe Koundouri, Director of Resees Laboratory at AUEB and SDU at ATHENA RC, as well as her research team and discussed a collaborative way forward on projects related to sustainable finance, ESG & SDG Stock Exchange Measurement and the SDG asset pricing model.
Further to her meeting Prof. Koundouri and Prof. Zhelyazkova met with Prof. Manyu Moravenov Ph.D MRICS, CEO of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange.
