The UN’s largest annual gathering on gender equality & women’s empowerment is taking place 14 to 25 March 2022.
On 15th March, (16:00-17:30 Istanbul time) Prof Phoebe Koundouri will deliver the keynote speech and moderate the CSW 66 side event entitled: “Untapped potential: Expanding women’s leadership: on climate and disaster resilience in Central Asia” hosted by the Government of Turkmenistan and UN Women.
This year, United Nations Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) is focusing on the theme: “Achieving gender equality and the empowerment of all women and girls in the context of climate change, environmental and disaster risk reduction policies and programmes”.
