On 16-17 December 2019 a launch workshop was hosted by the Cyprus Institute to discuss aiming to establish a regional climate change adaptation forum, with the intention to promote climate initiatives focusing on collaborative, participatory, social innovations that include civil society, scientific research institutions and policy makers. Participants from Cyprus, Greece, Turkey, Jordan, the Palestinian Authority and Israel composed the workshop, with Prof. Koundouri presenting best practices and on gong research taking place in Greece.
