On 26 November, during her appearance on Η ΝΑΥΤΕΜΠΟΡΙΚΗ | Naftemporiki TV, Prof. Phoebe Koundouri discussed the outlook for the Greek and European economy as the RRF enters its final phase and work begins on shaping the EU Multiannual Financial Framework 2028–2034.
She highlighted Greece’s exceptionally high absorption rate of 50–59%, which reflects the country’s strong progress in delivering mature and impactful investments. Prof. Koundouri emphasised that the next EU framework will continue to prioritise the green transition, digitalisation and overall resilience, and underlined that Europe’s long-term competitiveness must be built on innovation, decarbonisation and strategic autonomy.
