Prof. Phoebe Koundouri is deeply honored to join the International Climate Councils Network (ICCN), representing Greece alongside Prof. Christos Zerefos and Prof. Costas Synolakis, as a Member of the Special Scientific Committee on Climate Change under the Hellenic Ministry of Environment and Energy.
Launched in 2021, ICCN serves as a dynamic forum that fosters collaboration and mutual support among official climate councils worldwide. The network plays a pivotal role in enabling climate councils—tasked with advising their national governments—to exchange knowledge, share best practices, and strengthen one another’s efforts in tackling climate change.
