Open – EUROPEAN INSTITUTE OF INNOVATION & TECHNOLOGY REGIONAL INNOVATION SCHEME post-2020

The session will inform participants about the key achievements and challenges of the EIT Regional Innovation Scheme (RIS) until now and focus on the new elements introduced with the Commission’s proposal for the EIT Strategic Innovation Agenda 2021-2027. EIT RIS, is EIT’s action for widening participation to its activities and the main EIT Community tool to strengthen the innovation capacity of Member States and Horizon 2020 Associated Countries with moderate or modest innovation capacity (according to the European Innovation Scoreboard). The session is part of the EIT Stakeholder Forum 2020, which aims to provide a platform for EIT stakeholders to express their views and contribute thereby to an impactful implementation of the EIT’s future work programme.
