EIT Climate-KIC Climathons 2019, Athens, Larissa & Mytilene, Greece

On 25^th October 2019, three Climathons took place in Greece under the auspices of EIT Climate-KIC Hub Greece, in Athens, Larissa and Mytilene, Greece. In particular, the Athenian Climathon co-organised by EIT Climate-KIC Greece, UN SDSN Greece, Organization Earth and Aephoria was hosted by HFAISTOS Educational Association of Athens. This year’s challenge was to create bikeways in Athens as a solution to air pollution and climate change. Among the awards, the winning team will have the chance to present its idea to the municipality of Athens and discuss the implementation plan with the Municipality officers.
