Following the United Nations Conference on Financing for Development (FFD4) held in Seville, the dialogue on global equity and sustainable development continued at the Pontifical Academy of Social Sciences in the Vatican, during the Fraternal Economy Session on Ethical Multilateralism: Views from the World’s Faiths. The session was convened under the leadership of Professor Jeffrey Sachs, President of the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network.
Held on 3 July 2025 , the meeting brought together an extraordinary group of global religious leaders, scholars, and policymakers to reflect on the evolving role of multilateralism in a rapidly transforming, multipolar world.
