On June 23rd, the AE4RIA team participated in the Paris Committee on Capacity-building (PCCB) Networking Session – Energy Cluster, held as part of the Bonn Climate Change Conference.
Prof. Dr. Phoebe Koundouri, Dr. Ebun Akinsete, and Dr. Dimitris Raptis took part in a high-level roundtable focused on scalable solutions for climate resilience and a just energy transition. The session was co-moderated by the Global Energy Interconnection Development and Cooperation Organization (GEIDCO) and REN21, and brought together international stakeholders to exchange expertise and foster collaboration around the role of renewable energy in global capacity-building efforts.
The discussion provided a platform for meaningful dialogue on how renewable energy can not only support the transition to a low-carbon economy but also serve as a catalyst for international cooperation and systemic innovation within the framework of the PCCB Network.
