Accelerating Urban and Rural Transformation Introducing the City Challenge – COP29 – Day 4, Session 1

The moderated panel explored key components of the challenge, including prize categories, involved entities, value propositions, communication strategies, stakeholder contributions, and steps for operationalization.
Panellists also discussed the challenge’s significance, and the need to showcase actions and address implementation requirements.
The session also featured a roundtable with city representatives and mayors, offering perspectives from the recipient’s side of the project.
