From July 25th to 28th 2022, the Circular Economy Balkan Beacons (CEBB) Strategic Half-year meeting took place at Athena Research & Innovation Center in Information Communication & Knowledge Technologies co-organised by ATHENA RC (Greece), CirEkon (Serbia) and Chamber of Commerce, Industry & Agriculture Timis (Romania) for CEBB project co-funded by EIT Climate-KIC.
The goals of this meeting were to revise the work to be performed by the end of 2022, define clear roles, responsibilities and objectives for 2023 and onwards, and develop a proposition value mapping and business plan setup.
ATHENA RC was represented by Prof. Phoebe Koundouri, Dr Artemis Stratopoulou, Mrs Lydia Papadaki and Mr Stathis Devves.
The aim of CEBB is to connect Balkan countries and push circular business foundation through innovation. Imagine there is no waste in materials, energy, water and working hours in your value chain. Imagine waste free and pollution free profits. It is possible through the implementation of a circular economy.
