The SDSN Youth Greece group participated in four events/conferences in Athens. After building partnerships with TEDxAUEB and the Athens Science Festival, and having AISEC Greece and SAFIA join the SDSN Youth Network in Greece, the SDSN Youth team was invited to attend events organized by the respective organizations. During these four events the SDSN Youth team informed visitors about the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), SDSN Greece, ICRE8 and SDSN Youth Greece.
The “event-marathon” started with the annual TEDxAUEB event in Technopolis, followed by the Model Hellenic Youth Parliament organized by SAFIA, the Youth Speak Forum launched by AIESEC Greece, and ended with the Athens Science Festival, a four days event about innovative and creative ideas and projects. Apart from informing visitors about the SDGs and the idea of the SDSN, the SDSN Youth group conducted a survey in which participants had to prioritize three SDGs for Greece, suggest solutions to achieve SDGs, and name the SDGs they contribute most to. In total more than 350 people, mainly students, participated in the survey. ICRE8 interns Stelios Zlatanos and Josef Adler will evaluate the survey results and publish them on the ICRE8 and SDSN Greece website, and the SDSN Youth Greece Facebook page.
