Webinar: Challenges of female entrepreneurs and researchers

On Wednesday 12^th of July, a webinar focusing on the “Challenges of female entrepreneurs and researchers “organized by the European Centre for Women and Technology (ECWT) took place virtually. The webinar covered the challenges that female entrepreneurs face and how to overcome them, as well as the lessons learned from the MENA Maritime Accelerator, which aims to accelerate the green transformation of the maritime industry by supporting start-ups that provide innovative solutions for the transition to Climate Neutrality and Resilience. Lydia Papadaki (Researcher, ATHENA RC) introduced the participants to climate change, and sustainability concepts, including the SDGs, and presented the work of AE4RIA directed by Prof. Phoebe Koundouri in supporting the innovation acceleration focusing on the MENA Maritime Accelerator, Climathons and Greece’s State of Climate Tech Report and the role of women and to get involved in the start-up ecosystem Growth in Greece.
