The kick off meeting was launched on 29th June 2021 and took place online. This new €9m EU research project will link citizens, science, and industry for critical Black Sea regeneration, stimulating a new wave of ‘blue economy’ opportunities. We are bringing together the best expertise and technology from 37 institutions from the Black Sea region and European countries to address the human and climate change impacts in the marine ecosystem.
Sustainable Development Unit at Athena Reserarch Center is partner of the project. PI is Prof. Koundouri and members of the team are: Prof. Nicos Theodossiou, Dr. Ebun Akinsete, Alice Guittard.
