Prof. Koundouri joins the Advisory Science Panel for the Extreme Heat Resilience Alliance (EHRA) at the Atlantic Council’s Adrienne Arsht-Rockefeller Foundation Resilience Center. Over the next year, the Science Panel will guide the EHRA Leadership Team. EHRA, established in August 2020, aims to address climate-driven extreme heat risks globally, emphasizing education, awareness, and partnership. The EHRA Leadership Team will focus on key areas such as exploring methods and metrics for success, selecting future leadership, guided by the diverse perspectives of the Science Panel.
